Nestled at the base of the West Elk Mountains, and under the protective eye of Needle Rock, Double Rose Ranch consists of 110 acres just outside the town of Crawford. The Smith Fork river runs through the land and various pastures and wooded areas create beautiful vignettes, and lovely spaces to enjoy.
This valley and the surrounding area was originally the ancestral lands of the Ute Native Americans. We feel deep gratitude for the ways the Ute people co-created with this land, and take great honor in our role as the current stewards of this special place.
The North Fork Valley at large is well known in Colorado for being the breadbasket of the state and is home to the most biodynamic and organic farms. The harvest is so beautiful and bountiful at this time of year, and we look forward to sharing this time of abundance with you.
